Zan and his brother Dael are older now and have been married. Dael has not completely healed from his time as a slave and is forced to cope with the fact that his wife is dead. Needless to say, Dael is an emotional train wreck and Zan is determined to help. Will Dael give in to his dark, violent urges or will Zan be able to save his brother once again?
I enjoyed this book as much as the first one. You can't help but fall in love with Zan because he has so much love inside of him and he wants nothing more than to save his brother. This is a powerful and emotional story that is more mature than the last book.
