Paying For School

I can still remember my senior year and all I kept thinking about was how the next year I would be going to college. I felt like I was unstoppable and there were so many possibilities for the future. Don't get me wrong, I was a bit overwhelmed because I was becoming an adult and wasn't quite sure how I was going to pay for school.  My mom and I did some research on grants and private student loans

I decided to go to a University that was close to home because I didn't want to end up owing so much money that I would feel suffocated by debt.  I ended up receiving a couple of grants but it still wasn't enough to pay for school plus books and supplies.  I ended up taking out a loan so that I would be able to get all the things that I needed.

Even though I knew that I would have to pay back my loan, I knew that in the long run it was for the best.  Getting an education is important, especially in today's world.  Investing in your future can be one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Education is super important. The best advice I got was, the amount of money you take out for your undergrad should be around what your starting salary. They say it is a sure fire way not to get yourself too far in debt. Worked for me.
